Kilmarnock v ICT match preview

Last updated : 19 November 2005 By Suzanne MacDonald

Inverness CT face a trip to Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Saturday afternoon, and will hope to continue their excellent away record.

Previous trips to Rugby Park have been both good and bad. Last season we were unbeaten there however the first match, ending 2-2 also saw the end of Stuart McCaffrey's long run in the first team after being sent off for an alleged infringement on, now ICT forward, Craig Dargo.

The second trip there last seaon resulted in good 1-0 victory for ICT with Barry Wilson getting on the score sheet.

The clubs had only met "twice"before at Rugby Park, both being in the Scottish Cup. Well I say twice, the reality is that the first game was only 29 minutes long with the referee abandoning the game due to a frozen pitch! Really helps having under-soil heating doesn't it!! The re-run of that match resulted in a victory for Killie.
