THE QUEUE outside the TCS treatment room has lengthened, with Lee Cox the latest to add to the medical staff's overtime.
The midfielder has been ruled out for up to six weeks with a suspected fractured ankle, meaning the Caley Jags' injury crisis has now hit new depths.
The 20-year-old was carried off in Caley Jags’ 6-0 defeat to Celtic on Wednesday, and will miss the trip to Paisley tomorrow.
Cox joins Kenny Gillet, Kevin McCann, Chris Innes and Dani Sanchez in the treatment room.
Manager Terry Butcher told the Press & Journal: "Lee is in plaster and the doctors will be assessing the X-rays on his ankle.
"It is looking like he will be out for five to six weeks which is a massive blow.
"The fibula on the right side of his ankle swelled up after the game. He was in a lot of pain and it could be a slight fracture.
"We have not had a great time with injuries this season but we just have to get on with it.
"People have to step up, rise to the occasion and make sure they contribute. We will have 18 players going to St Mirren."
