Terry Targets Better October

Three out of the next four games for Inverness will take place at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium in October as St Mirren, Dunfermline and then Motherwell all visit the Highland Capital.

With only one away fixture — a trip to St Johnstone — scheduled for next month, Butcher believes the opportunity is there for his Caley Thistle players to pick up some much-needed SPL points.

"October has the potential to be a good month for us," he told the Inverness Courier. "We don’t play either of the Old Firm, while we have three matches at home.

"From our last two games at home, we have collected four points from a possible six, so we’re looking forward to the home matches we have coming up next month.

"I can see no reason as to why we can’t do well in these games and I’m quite relaxed about it all. Even though we are bottom of the league, we have a good squad here that is capable of going higher up the division.

"It’s not as if we’ve been outplayed or overran by any team we’ve played so far, which is encouraging, but I still feel there is a lot more to come."
