CALEY JAGS defender Ross Tokely has apologised and said he didn’t mean to injure Aberdeen's Mitch Megginson during our 2-0 defeat of the Dons on Saturday.
Aberdeen boss Mark McGhee is furious that Tokes was only booked for the tackle at the TCS that saw the Aberdeen youngster stretchered off.
But Aberdonian Tokely, 31, claimed the tackle “wasn’t nasty” and hit back at McGhee for suggesting he should have been sent off.
Megginson has since had a scan that showed no fracture or other damage, so it's obviously all a fuss about nothing in what is supposed to be a contact sport after all.
