The club today announced the new pricing structure for next years season tickets. They are as follows:
Main Stand
Adult £320
OAP £195
Students and children £120
North Stand
Adult £250
OAP £150
Students and children £80
Family Section
Adult £200
OAP £100
Students and children £60
Unfortunately, the club seem to no longer value their reputation as a family club and have in their wisdom not put together a family package as they did last year. This therefore results in the average family of 2 adults and 2 children having a 20% rise in the amount they have to pay for a season ticket! Hardly family friendly. On top of this they have done away with any reduction for children of centenary club members even though one of the selling points of becoming a member is "massive discounts on a child’s season ticket".
Although the prices have just been released today, existing season tickets holders have only until 17th June to purchase their seats and so far the club have failed to announce any form of repayment scheme to soften the blow. The club also appear to have done away with the half season tickets and the 10 ticket books which proved very popular last year.
Following the release of the ticket prices the Operations Manager, Morven Reid, took day off and nobody else was available for comment at the club!
I would ask anyone who feels strongly regarding these changes to e-mail Morven Reid and request that the club re-thinks the ticketing policy.
